Common questions

Do I need an account to use Fitty? +

No. Fitty works fully offline with no account. Everything you log is stored on your iPhone.

Signing in with Google is optional and exists only to back your data up so you can restore it after reinstalling or on a new device.

How do I export my data? +

Go to Account → Export data. Fitty writes a JSON file covering your workouts, routines, plan, nutrition logs, goals, and chat history, which you can save or share anywhere iOS can send a file.

How do I delete my data or my account? +

Local data: delete any individual record inside the app, or delete the app from your iPhone to remove everything stored locally.

Cloud backup and account: email fitty-support@onpassly.com from the address tied to your Google Sign-In. We delete your account record and its entire backup within 30 days and confirm by reply.

My workouts aren't showing up in Apple Health +

Fitty writes a workout to Health when you finish it, and only if you granted write permission. Check Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → Fitty and confirm the workout categories are enabled.

Permissions granted after a workout don't apply retroactively — only sessions finished afterward are written.

What does the AI coach send to a server? +

Only when you send a message: your message, recent chat history, a summary of your training history and goals, and — if you granted Health access — a small daily health snapshot. If you never open the chat, nothing leaves your device.

The full detail is in the privacy policy.

Are my meal photos uploaded anywhere? +

No. Meal photos stay in Fitty's private storage on your iPhone. They are excluded from cloud backup, so they are not restored on a new device — export or save them separately if you want to keep them.

How do I restore my data on a new iPhone? +

Install Fitty, sign in with the same Google account you used before, then tap Account → Restore from backup. Restoring replaces what is currently on the phone, so do it before you start logging on the new device.

Your workouts, routines, plan, goals, nutrition entries, and chat history come back. Meal photos are not included (see above).

If you never signed in, there is no cloud copy — restore from an iPhone or iCloud device backup instead.

Is Fitty free? Is there a subscription? +

Fitty is free. There is no subscription, no paywalled logging, and no ads. Signing in for backup costs nothing.
